Continuously improving strength:
Impact-resistant metal-encased structure.
The ultra-tough stainless steel bezel and the inner case made of glass fiber reinforced resin are resistant to damage and deformation, protecting the module. Small protrusions on the inner case minimize surface contact with the bezel to absorb shock to the module. This cutting-edge technology is applied to the original G-SHOCK concept of a hollow structure, resulting in a shock-resistant structure with a metallic outer shell.
Octagonal case design
Expresses strength and durability
The bezel uses the octagonal design principle that G-SHOCK has featured since its earliest models. Through a meticulous process of forging, cutting, and polishing, the frame is precisely crafted. From the finely shaped dial to the form of the case back, every detail is engineered to ensure a perfect fit with the inner case, which is key to its structural precision.
The top surface features a circular hairline finish, while the sides are mirror-polished, giving the bezel a refined and striking shine.
Minimalist aesthetics
of design:
Ultra-thin wafer-style design
We achieved shock resistance with a minimal case thickness by adopting a metal-clad shock-resistant structure. The installation of a high-density, optimized circuit board structure further reduces the thickness of the module.
The result is an ultra-slim design for the analog-digital hybrid model with a metal case, offering a sleek profile and comfortable fit on the wrist.
Casual sophistication:
Textured band
The watch’s urethane strap features a finely detailed square dot texture. Advanced molding technology is used to create a complex surface pattern with gradually varying dot sizes for added depth and sophistication.
A sliding lever mechanism allows the strap to be easily attached and removed for greater convenience.
Meticulous detailing:
Metal vapor deposition rotating finish
A combination of mirror polishing and hairline finishing is applied to the dial surface, creating a refined texture perfectly suited for a metal model dedicated to meticulous attention to detail.
